'MRS' 5th BOYS AND GIRLS MRS KIDS CUP [SEE Details]

On the Tuesday the 23rd of May 2017, the National Youth Soccer Association alongside MRS officially unveiled the jerseys for the 5th edition of their MRS boys & Girls Kids’ Cup with the theme “Raising Future Stars” at a press conference held in Lagos they also used the occasion to award trophies to the association.

The assistant secretary of the National Youth soccer association, in his speech said it had become a tradition now to hold a press conference and presentation of trophies before the final closing ceremony of the annual MRS kids cup.

He also pointed out that the partnership with MRS was a fruitful one which provides an enabling platform for kids who believe in positive ideals, as well as strive to achieve them.

The MD MRS, Mr. Andrew Gbodume, thanked God for successfully hosting the MRS kids cup for five years consecutively.

He pointed out that the youth have put Nigeria on the map internationally through music sports and entertainment and that they chose to focus on the sports aspect through football.

The director of public Affairs MRS holdings, Otunba Jibrin revealed that 64 teams both main and female have been participating in the kids cup since the 12th of May and that by the 31st of May the finals will be played for the women’s teams between Sunrise united from Ketu and shade queens from Ikorodu by 1pm at Campos mini stadium.

While for the boys the 3rd place will be played by orgi babes imota at 11am for the final amazing babes ikoyi will face oluyole boys from Ayobo at 3pm on the same day also at campos mini stadium.

He stated that the MRS kids cup started in 2013 as part of their corporate social responsibility in youths and sports. The winning team will have cash prizes and support for their schooling while other teams will also be given consolation prizes for participating.

The event rounded up with the official presentation of trophy by the MD MRS holdings to the Chairman of the National Youth Soccer Association Rev. Paul Freeman.
